Hi just bought 1500 indian drifter yr 2000 love the looks and to taking her out for a long ride live in dagenham essex

Welcome to the forum, I'm in High Wycombe but do travel over to Essex, but usually
the Northern part near Saffron Walden...

Is the bag between the rear mudguard and the seat mounted there?

The rear support is like a horseshoe and I do see them fairly regularly on eBay.com but they tend to be around $250.
